Machine learning meets methane! Fart-powered AI. Our mission is to bring laughter and joy to people everywhere, while showcasing the fun side of artificial intelligence. Whether you want to share a laugh with friends or just see what your farts have to say, Fart Translator is here for you!

About the Project

Fart Translator began as a joke, but quickly turned into a real experiment in applying machine learning to unconventional inputs. The project blends humor, illustration, and software to explore how people interact with playful technology.

At its core, Fart Translator is about curiosity: taking a ridiculous idea seriously enough to build it properly, and seeing where that intersection of comedy and code leads.

How It Works

Users record or play a pre-recorded fart sound and let the app interpret it. Each sound is analyzed and translated into humorous outputs — from news headlines, jokes and trivia to absurd commentary: designed to be shared and enjoyed.

The experience is intentionally simple, fast, and playful, making it easy for anyone to jump in without needing to understand what’s happening behind the scenes.

Why I Built It

Fart Translator was an opportunity to combine humor with real product development. I wanted to explore the full lifecycle of a playful idea — from concept and branding to development, deployment, and distribution.

The project challenged me to balance novelty with usability, and to ship something intentionally silly while still treating the technology and user experience seriously.
